Whip up irresistible Cheesy Garlic Butter Bites! Fluffy biscuit pieces coated in savory garlic butter and melted mozzarella, baked golden. Easy instructions and nutritional info included.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16.3 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough (e.g., Pillsbury Grands)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or a 9-inch round baking pan. Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into 4-6 smaller pieces.
  2. Step 2: In a medium microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, and salt and black pepper to the melted butter. Stir well to combine.
  3. Step 3: Add the cut biscuit pieces to the bowl with the garlic butter mixture. Toss gently to ensure all the dough pieces are evenly coated.
  4. Step 4: Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese to the dough mixture. Toss again until the cheese is well distributed among the dough pieces. Pour the entire mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading the bites into a single layer.
  5. Step 5: Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the biscuit bites are golden brown, puffed up, and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve warm.

Notes

  • To keep your delightful bites fresh, store any leftovers in an airtight container; they'll be good at room temperature for a day, or in the refrigerator for up to three days.
  • Revive chilled bites by warming them in a 300°F (150°C) oven for about 5-8 minutes until the cheese is gooey again and they're heated through, or for a quicker option, a brief microwave zap works too.
  • These savory bites are absolute stars on their own, but they truly shine alongside a hearty pasta dinner, as a dippable side for a warm bowl of soup, or with a tangy marinara sauce.
  • For maximum flavor in every bite, be sure to thoroughly toss the biscuit pieces with both the garlic butter mixture and the cheeses before baking; an even coating means deliciousness throughout!
