Join the viral craze! This TJ’s Dumpling Bake transforms frozen dumplings into a cheesy, savory, chili-mayo sensation. Easy oven prep, incredible flavors. Full recipe & nutrition details included.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Trader Joe's Steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings (or Chicken & Ginger) – 1 (10 oz) package
  • Trader Joe's Chili Onion Crunch – 2 tablespoons
  • Mayonnaise (Japanese style if possible) – 1/4 cup
  • Soy Sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese – 1 cup
  • Green Onions – 2 stalks, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish or a similar sized oven-safe dish.
  2. Step 2: Arrange the frozen Trader Joe's dumplings in a single layer at the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Step 3: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Trader Joe's Chili Onion Crunch, and soy sauce until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
  4. Step 4: Drizzle the prepared sauce mixture evenly over the arranged dumplings in the baking dish, then generously sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the sauce and dumplings.
  5. Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden brown, and the dumplings are heated through and tender.
  6. Step 6: Carefully remove the dish from the oven. Garnish the baked dumplings with the thinly sliced green onions before serving warm.

Notes

  • Leftovers keep beautifully in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, making them a fantastic next-day treat!
  • To enjoy your bake again, reheat individual portions in a toaster oven or microwave until warm, keeping an eye on them to prevent overcooking for the best texture.
  • This savory bake pairs wonderfully with a simple side of steamed white rice to soak up all the flavorful sauce, or a crisp green salad for a refreshing contrast.
  • For an extra layer of flavor and a beautiful finish, consider drizzling a touch more Trader Joe's Chili Onion Crunch over the top just before serving, along with those fresh green onions!
