Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 4 cups mixed salad greens
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup diced cucumber
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1/4 cup your favorite dressing (ranch, vinaigrette, etc.)
Instructions
- Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well incorporated and then form into burger patties.
- Step 2: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Step 3: While the burgers are cooking, prepare the salad base by placing the mixed salad greens in large bowls.
- Step 4: Once the burgers are cooked, let them rest for a minute before slicing them into strips. Place the sliced burger on top of the salad greens.
- Step 5: Add the cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, and shredded cheese on top of the burger strips. Drizzle with your favorite dressing and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious Burger Bowls!
Notes
- For optimal freshness, store any leftover Burger Bowls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, keeping the dressing separate to prevent sogginess.
- When reheating, gently warm the sliced burger strips in a skillet over low heat to retain their juiciness, and consider adding a splash of water to create steam for better heating.
- Serve your Burger Bowls with a side of crispy tortilla chips or garlic bread for a delightful crunch that complements the fresh ingredients.
- For extra flavor, try seasoning your ground beef with a pinch of salt and pepper before cooking, or experiment by adding chopped herbs like parsley or dill to elevate the overall taste of your Burger Bowls.
