- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup of fresh spinach leaves
Instructions
- Step 1: Begin by cooking the turkey beef bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels to remove excess grease.
- Step 2: While the beef bacon is cooking, spread mayonnaise on one slice of bread and Dijon mustard on the other slice.
- Step 3: Layer the crispy turkey beef bacon on top of the mayonnaise side, followed by the slice of Gouda cheese.
- Step 4: Add fresh spinach leaves over the cheese, then close the sandwich with the mustard-spread slice of bread.
- Step 5: Toast the sandwich in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For optimal freshness, store any leftover sandwich in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- To reheat, simply place the sandwich in a skillet over low heat for a few minutes on each side until warmed through and crispy, avoiding the microwave to keep the bread from becoming soggy.
- For a delightful twist, consider adding sliced tomatoes or avocado to your sandwich for extra flavor and nutrition.
- When cooking the turkey beef turkey bacon, don’t rush; allowing it to crisp up properly will enhance the overall texture and flavor of your sandwich.
